Player promotions for May!

Once again we begin another month, and we take some time to thank the people who have kept this place supported so we can all play here!

We show our appreciation to the members of the World Forge paysite by giving them special forum titles, and the titles change over time to indicate their level of contribution and how long they've been contributing.

Avlis is a great hobby we have, and it costs nothing. You are welcome to become a contributing member but you do not have to. For WAY less than the price of a movie and WAY more enjoyment time than a movie, you can have endless hours of fun here. Helping us with our bills is a good way to top it off, if you wish. To those who do, thanks so much. To those who do not, you are very welcome to play and join me in thanking the supporters we have.

We hope to continue to bring you new servers and DM events all the way up and through the times that NWN2 comes out and we slowly start to transition over to it. By slow, I mean snail's pace.

*coughs gently* Ahem.

When I check my payment schedule, I find that my very first payment was 6th May 2004. In January this year, I paid $5 on the 6th, then upped my subscription to $10 on the 15th, thereby paying twice in that month. I believe I am therefore a Gold Lifer, as I have made a total of 25 payments over a 24 month period, and will be making another $10 payment on the 15th.

Hey Fifty, if that's the case, then you should definitely get the title. Can you send me a copy of that subscription email you got in May 2004? My records only go back to July 2004.

Prefect timing, Sunday May 7th represeneted the full 1 year mark since I joined Avlis. I've tried to change my Subscription from $5 to $10 per month but keep getting errors on either paypal the Avlis site. So will celebrate by donating a lump sum.

I get my monthly visa statement and it reads £2.79 for the subscription which is pitiful for the enjoyment I get out of avlis.

I think I signed up for paypal more or less as soon as it was possible for me, but there should be others who have been subscribed in one way or another for longer than me. Americans, perhaps. Can't remember that far back.

Wowie... I suspected that we were around a lot longer than that. I lost a lot of data when I graduated Rutgers and they took my email account away, forcing me to switch to gmail.
