Avlis Team undergoes restructuring

Because of the rate of growth in our world, we need to broaden out our team structure a little bit more. We are hoping that this restructuring further increases the efficiency with which we get things done. The last restructuring we did saw the advent of the subcontractor program. That has been working very well, and we have gained at least two very good team members from our subcontractor pool.

This new re-structuring will broaden out the DM ranks. There are now 5: Apprentice DM, Minor DM, Veteran DM, Senior DM, and Major DM. (The only difference between Senior and Major is the ability to code.) Apprentice DM's are needed for purpose of providing ambience and XP cookies to people. Veteran DM's are simply Minor DM's that have been on the team for a while and are recognized for the hard work they've put into this world.

There are also things called Module Coordinators now. These guys are basically upper management, and their function is more of a concern to internal team stuff than anything the players will really see.

Keep an eye out for some title changes!

Nice touch. It did feel weird that Nighthawk and Deider had the same title. (Self professed RP cookie presenter vs Gentleman ;))

I would be very interested in more information about the apprentice DM postition. Should I fill out a Subcontractor app or just send an email to the team or does this post suffice?

It's best to just send a short e-mail to the team, stating your interest. A DM application form is different from the subcontractor one iirc. One will be send to you.

I'd share a title with Nighthawk4 any day of the week. That man is a roleplaying genius.

Hehe. No argument... but still rather different purposes :)
