Avlis is open for local vault no password today

Post by Orleron » Fri Dec 12, 2003 2:11 pm

During the Bioware downtime, we're putting Avlis on free-for-all mode. Feel free to login and do whatever you want. You will not have access to your servervault characters, so you can either create a new one, or use one in your local vault. Also, the passwords have been removed for today.

Everything will return to normal once the Bioware sites go back up.

You mean I can recruit a bunch of mercenaries and pillage the Temple of Wee-Jas.... oops, I mean Angadar, without impunity from a raging blue elf and her side-kicks?

That would depend on what the blue elf and sidekicks have to say, wouldn't it? ;)

Great news. Thanks Orleron.

Anyone up for the Second Solace New Century Party then?

Failing that, how about we all bring level 20s and sort out the FoM?

You are out of luck. I backed up Amonien recently.. and you don't want me to bring in aversion of her lurking on my HD since last weekend.... lvl 28 cleric..

Even with local vault... You can't bring a PC that's over 20th lvl onto the server.

super newbie question . . .

Post by Nagarjuna » Fri Dec 12, 2003 7:04 pm

I've been eyeing Avlis for awhile but haven't done the whole application thing to play, can I play today while bioware's down and it's a 'free-for-all'? I tried joining a multiplayer game in nwn, but I can't as the server's down, how do you get on avlis?

any reply appreciated!

Already did that earlier on Nighthawk, with a 20th Level dwarven fighter. He was geared up with the best Bioware and custom items from one of the Neverwinter Vault modes, and I have to say that at first it was gratifying to pummel all those things that my regular character wouldn't have a chance against BUT after a while it got very, very boring....

To be honest, the whole exercise made me appreciate Avlis and all of you, the community, even more; without the character interaction the fun factor simply wasn't the same.

I've said it before and I'll say it again; you all rock, thank you!!! :D

yes you are welcome to try Avlis today.
If you like it then go here and do an app.

Also you might want to give the FAQ a read, and if you decide to stay with us, then please give the rules a read.
