Elysia switched to SoU

Post by Papillon » Wed Aug 20, 2003 7:04 pm

The City of Elysia now runs SoU, v1.30.

You need the Universal and CoPaP Hakpaks to play on this server:

Either get the whole package (150 MB) or download just what you need for Elysia: (36 MB).

Mikona and Wilderness servers will follow soon.

Not working for me at all. It stopped in the middle twice and just quit. Now I cannot even get it to start. I think it is just over booked. I need to find a good off-hour hakpak downloading time.

HarveyH made a site that you can download the Haks from, it works really well.

Thank you... his site worked nicely! I am not sure why, but I had a lot of trouble with Avlis downloads section.

Oh well... atleast I can play now.

AFAIK, Internet Explorer has troubles getting large files from FTP servers, whereas HTTP works fine.

I found IE to be somewhat slow downloading them. People might be better off using a download manager (like Getright), as it will resume the file if it times out or dies part way through.

I think I found Harvey's website download much faster however
