Le'Or T'Nanshi and Deglos servers have switched to SoU

Post by Orleron » Thu Aug 14, 2003 3:22 am

The transition has begun. Le'Or T'Nanshi and Deglos are running SoU right now. You will need the new hakpaks to be able to access them. No, you can't access them with the old hakpaks. The new ones replace the old ones. If there are no problems with these servers in the next couple days, Elysia will be switched over next. We'll let you know how it goes!

Well, I was thinking about it. Wilderness runs on the same machine as Mikona, so it would be a pain to only switch one of them. Elysia is by itself, so it is much easier.

Did you see this viewtopic.php?t=18009 post?

As far as I can tell, Le'Or and Deglos servers can't be logged into with existing characters.

I installed both hack paks (Avliss and LeOR), but still the program asks another Hackpack (Copac...). Which does it means?

For all SoU servers you will need the CoPaPHak v1.0 and the UniversalHak v2.0.

They are on the FTP site.

So how or when do I know that I can access the site again?

I am still downloading the last couple of files, but they should be added as soon as they are finished. I haven't tested any of them though.
So no need to wait.
Now go download and play!

I'll Make sure to sell some SoU scrolls to the merchants when I'm passing through Le'Or. They will be gone upon reset, but it will have to do for now.

Please don't convert Elysia until next week, when I get back to work.

I just tried the Universal2 file and it said it would take 1hr 39min. to download :(

It will have to wait until I can use the Broadband connection at work.

BTW - just to confirm:

I have the three files with names starting CoPaP. Is UniversalHAK_2_0.rar the only other one I need please?

The new files are in this post by Orleron. As you can see the CoPaPTlk and the AvlisMusic are optional for post players (the tlk is needed for prestige classes and custom races iirc)

I removed universalhak1 and added universahak2, but it keeps asking for the first universalhak1?

We have a new option for the lazy people :)

The installation program "AvlisCustomContent20.exe" contains ALL of the custom content and takes care of the installation process for you. It's on our FTP server in the "public downloads" directory (filesize: 148 MB).

Why would you want to remove hakpak1 and rename hakpak2 to hakpak1? It might work, but it sounds a bit dangerous.. just leave the old hakpak1 where it is and get hakpak2 in there as well.

Treu, but at the moment I put the second in the HAK directory, I erased the first one.
But I will install the complete file "AvlisCustomContent20.exe"... I'm a bit lazy too  (Hope I can enter deglos and Le'Or)
