August 2009 RPotM results!

Post by Belasco » Wed Sep 23, 2009 12:24 pm

For August, 2009 the Avlis RPotM comity is proud to present a
DUAL WIN!
A round of applause and a lot of xp for our winners, please!

Liam Dald
and
Sher'Cha

It was a close one this month, guys! Quite litterally down to the last few hours, very exciting to watch :cooler: The comments were also awesome. The ones for DMs will be posted Team-side, but lemme tell ya, there's no way not to smile when we see them :D

So without further ado, I give you...

The Comments *bows and exits stage left*

I really got to give Gurth a hand on his rp this month.. ..Oh wait..

For the greatest application of the sword in her efforts to slay pirates and whores, I cast my vote for Isadora Arnemeigne.

Th'lad cause he just real fun halfling to have around.. always the same funny guy.

Kate.. well Kate because she's shows her personality in every word.. well played

Pantera seriously knows her whompin'

Kory the drunken maiden, though not as drunk as she appears, is a beautiful balance of fun and serious.

More lightning from Deo please (even if you think you're crashing the servers)!

Silver continues to bring quality roleplay day after day. Always a pleasure to run into her.

Fletcher is great. What more can I say?

I can't say enough just how much that sassy little hin (Freddy) makes me laugh, I literally have to take a break IG to stop giggling!

Thanks to Glarn and Nilbok for giving me a fit of the giggles.

Isskaa plays a great Shaahesk warrior who I've really watched evolve over the past year. He went from being a young and unsure slashling to a ruthless and efficient commander and had some interesting stops along the way. I look forward to seeing what else he becomes!

My, have I been missing out on the Ak'hanrye sisters.

Robert Wallace: *twirls his moustache* which girl could resist THAT?

Otho Wolf is one of those people who just cheer you up.

Freddie Mouze - strangely attractive, though I really couldn't say why!

Ang - he really is an evil evil (little) man

Smeec because he always makes me smile on the boards.

Liam Dald, the man, the myth, the legend! Duelist extraordinaire! Bar wench courter! This character has it all and does it all! Urizen knows what it's all about, truly one of the all time greatest. I ALWAYS have a good time playing with Liam, and that's why he gets my vote.

Hyacinth Pike continually delivers quality RP. Dedicated to her God and loyal to M'Chek, I enjoy the chance encounters with her.

Finally Jonezie managed to get in a decent timezone so that I could get some playtime with his characters. Shelly Maroon is through and through a unique character, and Jonezie brings him to life in a masterful way! More of this, please!

Because if I can count on two pc's to be well played every day in and out, it's Silver Fox and Orfanos.

Eve is an excellent rper and I find that she always adds some flavor to the scene.

Thaylis is so far in over his head in the military (character wise) it's absolutely hilarious to watch him continue to move up the ranks...

Bao the adonmkuro village boy is the new great character from thep, and this time I manage to understand (barely) what he says!

Miriel is....Miriel. nuff said.

theP approves of the Warlord Rhissaerk.
theP & Rhissaerk knows Rhissaerk will win this. Because theP knows Rhissaerk not only is mighty, sexy and witty, Rhissaerk is also one hell of a RPer.
theP toasts a Bottle of Glosht in Rhissaerks name!

In regards of psionic survival... I would find it hard to choose between psionic residue and Straccio.

Mhog'ar - as dependable as an old lagavulin

Wolf (Nuale) is young, brash , cheeky and a hella of an RPer. From his terrible common to every action and emote, he makes Wolf, totally real and believable

Frieda - as odd as a fresh campari and orange

Airinn - long haven't seen her IG but she is back and she didn't loose anything from her charming personality.

Archibald Thel - Something wrong is going on with this guy.. He's ain't same Archi, PC is evolving, move him to Blue Order!

Tanya "Tricks" Hellis, an outsider in a World, where she's almost always scrutinized. She plays constantly at high level.
A very interesting and a very very very intelligent Character that will have her name etched in the Record Books of the Darksiders of Avlis..

Kassha for the most horrible conversation I have ever had in a game..ever..

As always ... Miriel is just a joy to be around.

Freddy is having a bit of some ... eh well ... FOIG; I guess. But it is very fun to watch.

I have never been so afraid to walk in front of someone for fear of horrible death till Dameon'

Liam Dald: Because if he doesn't win, he's going to kill a pirate. If he does win, he's going to kill two.

Ulu - unbearably cool. Just can't bear it.

Jesseanne Jonathan Tate and Deostori - Two of the best kept secrets on Avlis

Brongar Steelbeard is such a fully-realized character that he pulls me into the game completely. His speech, mannerisms, and decisions are always convincing. He is constantly in-character, even if it costs him xp, treasure, or other opportunities that he would otherwise get if he let OOC information guide his thinking. And while playing, I completely believe he's a real dwarf.

Skekshkish is simultaneously creepy and a very ruthless drill sergeant. Nothing like an officer who will just dominate you if you annoy him. The player is also very committed to making his fellow players have an enjoyable experience.

Vilne - I've seen one part of him with one character, then a whole different experience with another. Very interesting to see and surprising! Really have enjoyed our conversations.

Lraks - for being the most awesome sidekick ever! Many LOL moments.

Peribo is a joy to play with. His constant *scribbles in book* emotes and the joy he displays in character while casting--or preparing to cast--his spells is infectious and believable. This month, especially, he displayed a great deal of in-character emotion during events surrounding a certain Le'Megen fugitive. There is a palpable sense of veracity in his gaming and I look forward to every adventure with him.

Skekshkishh: Mindslaver of Drotid. Turning the warmbloods to join Drotid, one sock puppet at a time. ]:>

Rhissaerk Jalesh: You've never seen a door bashed in until it falls to the pink might that is Warlord Rhissaerk!

Avlis has had many bards in its time, creating songs and poetry of standards ranging from shockingly bad, through mediocre to shockingly good. None, however, has even approached the sublime virtuosity of Eko's music, with its style and profundity.

Sher is a great character with alot of flavor and exceptional singing role play.

Aiko is so funny to watch everything she does with comments from her dragonkin becomes a riot. She isn't just frapps wife she is so much more...

Liam is a swashbuckler in full plate armor. If there's gold to be made or a damsel in distress to save, he's your man. Moral fiber = flexible.

Tomas does a very nice job of depicting Ye Olde Valokian priest, always full of words of LE wisdom, never afraid to leave party members to die in order to save his own skin.

Vilne is amazing, a deep and interesting character, that never fails to surprise me in his development. Its shocking, really 

Deo plays a beautiful character in and out. I can fully understand her at times and that's showing some skills.

This month's vote goes to two of the new wave of Valokians. They're great fun to be around, well played, generous and convincing. Tomas is easily the world's most annoyingly insistent cleric. He has a great beard, too. Rollek is a charming, noble, and utterly despicable Orc with an even better beard. He's also tremendously fun to murder. So those two!

Liam is able to sling with the best of them yet has no issue being a tour guy hacking anything that comes along.

Ji...well what can you say? He's just awesome!

Lovely Sher, just a great friend who is always there to listen and help

Hearing Kassha describe the Red Order is a true treat and seeing him go from student to teacher is a treasure

Tor Varson will one day win one damnit!
