It's been a long ride and a lot of fun

Post by Sapperken » Sun Nov 30, 2008 5:40 pm

But the time's come around for another round of...

November Role Player of the Month Awards!!!!!

It's time to show how much your votes really do count by casting a ballot here. You don't even need to run down to the nearest polling station! You can do it from the convenience of home/school/internet cafe!

Cheers,

- Ghostie and Sapper
  • Rules

    1. No PC (not player, but individual PC) may win a RPotM award (1st or 2nd place) more than twice in a calendar year. This is an effort to spread the love around a bit.

The following PC's aren't eligible any more in 2008:
    - Hyacinth Pike
    - Bedlam Dender
    - Angus Blacksail
    - Silver Fox
    - Oorayv'Levena
    - Flenken Jolliemausch

    2. Players can vote for their own PCs, but it's not terribly encouraged. Try voting for those other PCs who enrich your gameplay experience by making the world a little more real for you.

    3. Yes, DMs and Team Members can vote. There's no additional weight to their votes, but all Avlis members are encouraged to vote if you feel there are deserving PCs.

    4. Yes, you may vote for PCs played by Team Members.

    5. Please be specific, if you can. This one isn't exactly a rule, but if you want your vote to count... do your best to write the exact floaty name of the PC. I damn sure don't know every PC on Avlis, and there are lots of PCs with similar names or identical first names. Sure, I'll probably know enough to include votes for "Hert" with the votes for "Hert Snyder", but give me a hand and write out the full floaty name if you can. Feel free to use the comments section to clarify if you're not sure.

    6. Feel free to use the comment section for explanation of your votes. No, it won't change the vote count or anything, but I do read and enjoy every comment. I'll also be posting certain select comments in the results thread.
I'm pointing at "rule" 6 here, optional, yes, but the more people who comment, the more fun other people will have reading the results post :2thumbs:

So get to voting, and good luck!

Erg, hard choice this month. More of you start sucking so it'll be easier!

I'll just avoid that particular DM is I don't fancy being a nice crimson colour for that ground-in look.

He knows anyway. It was caused by me provoking a pair of DMs in IRC after all, that will not teach me to not provoke DMs.
