So where are they now?

Post by Nighthawk4 » Mon Nov 17, 2008 7:04 pm

Some of the Team have been around for ages. Some of us were around even when that guy started hearing voices and building a boat in his back garden, then loading it up with pairs of animals.

Unfortunately, that means some of us tend to make mistakes, like freezing the server or jumping everyone to one location for no obvious reason.

So we need a scapegoat. Someone to blame. Someone to go out for pizza and make the coffee.

Alas, they have all gone now. So we need some more.

So maybe you too could be ...........

...............An Apprentice DM

If you think you could manage that and as far as you are aware, you don't have a very long Watchlist and you like the idea of having a cool Forum Title, such as Apprentice DM, then send an email to staff@avlis.org and we will send you an Application Form.

Return that to us - preferably completed - and in a couple of weeks, someone will get off their arse to respond to it. Who knows, maybe you too could pass through the veil and move to the Dark Side.

So, I'm guessing the one I sent three years ago is no longer valid? Ah well.

We're still reviewing it.

If you check my references, I think a few of them passed away of old age a year or so ago...

On the upside, I could have gotten several guns, concealed weapons permits, and built my own nuclear reactor, if I wasn't a lazy gamer geek.

Micah's watchlist and the "Just for Necro" topic are the best things on these forums. And probably the largest topics too. :feuer: :hot:

Must be disparate to have someone to blame by opening the floodgates so to speak, and letting everyone have a go at applying. :D
I don't have anywhere near the originality or RP ability needed to be a DM, most of my ideas are borrowed from other things as it is.
Unless I bug someone I know who has DM'ed quite a lot... or just get him to play Avlis of course.
He's also to blame for me getting into D&D and RPG's in general.
I'm very grateful he did, and that I found you lot here.
Permanently confused.
