Nomad & Talwin, you can also see the passwords if you log into your Yahoo account and go to groups.yahoo.com. On the left you'll see all the yahoogroups that you belong to. One of them should be the CoPaP Yahoo Group. Click on that link and you'll see a list of every mail message I've ever sent out on the list. The pw's are in there, at the top.

That's actually good advice for a FAQ, if anyone wants to update the wiki with it.

Btw, you must log into Yahoo with the same email address that you used for joining the CoPaP list.

It's hard for me to tell: does Halstead border Julaspium at all?

Nice. :)

Does each sector represent one area? Or are the fiefs much bigger than that?

Nine subsectors per area, the city areas are three each.

Lots of buildings and other areas on top of that.

Big thanks should go out to Nob, as well, for thinking up the basis for the existing War Code in the first place.

On trying to log onto the CoPaP website (joined 30 September 2004) I get the following ...

You have specified an incorrect or inactive username, or an invalid

password.

Seems I'm no longer a member of CoPaP   and yahoo is being a pain in the a** again - the hassles with yahoo seem to date from when I switched from win98 to winxp. *shudders at the memory of trying to join bj's psion group*

I haven't got the e-mail either, but my membership to CoPaP groups has been lost somewhere in 2004 already and since then I didn't get any passwords or information e-mails. I do not even remember if I had a yahoo account. :D Any hope for people like me to receive the password?

Ok, here's what I would do. Sign up for a Yahoo account, and then reapply to Avlis. We have almost a dozen people answering applications nowadays, not just me, so it should not take more than a few hours to get approved, theoretically. By the time you wake up in the morning, you should have your new yahoogroups invite. Accept the invite, and then follow the directions I gave above.

Orleron, maybe make a sticky with the passwords on worldforge - People who signed up don't have to reapply then.

I am in the same situation.

That all seems very complicated to get the password (just went to Yahoo). Can someone just PM it to requestors. Alternatively, can we PM to someone to get it?

Actually, is the walk from Kuras to the Kurathene doable for a level 1 character? That could be another interesting option (I have access to all the other servers).

The Kurathene Empire has next to no danger except where you'll get an appropiate IC warning for it a long time before you enter the area.

The walk is safe.

I made a Kuras character and went to visit. The server looks great! Julaspium and Cytheria are really looking good.

I left my character in Cytheria. Of course, without the password it is stuck there, but at least I got a way to go look right away ;)
