Avlis Sourcebook Goes To The Publishers!

It's a little late in coming, but the Avlis sourcebook has officially been sent to the publishers!

Now that the contract is signed, I can tell you that the publisher will be Silven Publishing (http://www.silven.com/), probably in conjunction with a deal through Mongoose Publishing (http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/). I believe that Mongoose will be distributing the book to stores both in the United States and Europe, and it will be going to a LOT of stores.

The book itself will be hard cover with black and white art, and it should run a little over 300 pages, much like most of the best sourcebooks out there.

The other interesting thing about this contract is that it allows for OTHER people besides me to write Avlis sourcebooks on other things, so I'm guessing that Silven is very open to more work from Avlis.

Anyways, I'm just extremely happy about this because publishing Avlis is a hard cover campaign setting book has been my dream since I was about 16 years old!

I expect the whole process of editing and artwork will probably take most of the year.
