Avlis Fanfic Revamp Imminent: Hiring Marketing Consultant

Post by Orleron » Tue Nov 08, 2005 11:47 pm

We are closing in on the two-week mark for the launch of the new Avlis Fan Fiction site. There's lots to be done between now and then. One of the most important jobs on this site will be the Marketing Consultant. Blackparadox is looking for someone to fill this role for the website. The job description and contact info are below:

Job Description

This is a commision-based marketing consultant position. Blackparadox Enterprises will consult with this person to go out and get members to join the website from all over the internet. The consultant will be given a budget with which he or she performs these tasks:

* General marketing and promotion of the website on the internet
* Subscription of the website to search engines and keywords
* Patrolling internet sites and posting messages directing people to the site
* Entering the site in the proper web rings for maximum exposure
* Promotion of the site in small paper magazines, like Dragon Magazine
* Promotion of the site at conferences like GenCon and other Con's

The consultant will be paid commision for every member that joins the site and stays for three months. The commision is one full month's subscription fee for that member. For example, if the consultant gets five members to join the site in December 2005, a commission of $25 will be paid to the consultant in March 2006 if all of those members are still enrolled at that time.

Marketing experience with gaming products or websites is a plus. Applicants MUST have drive and ability. A quota of 5 new memberships per month must be met, or the position will be awarded to the next applicant.

To apply, send mail to exec@blackparadox.com. Include the following information (a regular resume will do):

I'm actually really suprised that the response to this isn't so great yet. This is a chance to have a sort of side job for yourself that could make a real decent supplemental income for your pizza fund.
