Congratulations to all the builders.

As for Eef, I'm not sure if that news should make me happy or scared. For the time being I'll go with a little of column A and a little from column B and say congratulations.

Congrats to all! Hope you have a blast and looking forward to your work :)

I do hope this doesn't mean less time for Val, Sterre and Oorayv though!

Gratz Drysh!
Always wondered whether you were on the team or not.

Eef, heh.. YARR!
Does this mean Forian's been given a belt of masculinity/feminity?
Wait.. Forian doesn't have a gender right.. or does he.. she.. um.. it?

Hearty thanks to Tissa and Nightfall for all the work they'll be putting in to make Avlis even better.

Cheers,

Hey folks! This also means we're now three subcontractors short. I'd like to replace those subs with about 10 more. There's lots to build and lots to finish, so if you have any skills at all and you'd like to give back to the community, become a subcontractor!

Below is a subcontractor app.... copy/paste it and send it to staff@avlis.org if interested.

Subcontractor Application for The Avlis Team

Directions: Fill out all fields in the application. For the part under ?Position?, only check ONE choice. If you see more than one that you like, fill out a separate appliation for each choice. When finished, rename the file AvlisSubcontrApp<your boards name>.doc.

First Name: Last Name: Age:

Email:

ISP: ICQ#/AIM:

Gamespy Username: Timezone (+/- GMT):
Blackdagger Boards Name:

What kind of project do you wish to subcontract for? (Mark all that apply.)
___ 1) Area Construction
___ 2) Quest Building
___ 3) General Literature/Information
___ 4) Avlis Systems (Crafting, merchants, death, etc.)
___ 5) Website

List all programming languages you know and how long you?ve worked with each: (attach additional sheets as necessary)

Have you ever worked as a programmer professionally? ___ Yes __ No

If yes, what kind of programming did you do?

Do you have any web design experience? ___ Yes ___ No

If yes, what kind?

What kind of experience do you have with the Aurora Toolset?

What do you like about Avlis?

If you had the permission, what would you implement on Avlis? (This could be a form of quest, an area, a website, a policy, anything)

How much time would you be able to devote (per day, week, etc) for producing Avlis content?

How do you feel about intellectual property, copyrighting and theft of ideas?

Is there anything else you would like to add?
