Role Player of the Year 2011 ~ Results

Post by Plethora » Mon Jan 09, 2012 5:32 pm

Thank you everyone for your votes, we had quite a few !! So without further ado, the winners for 2011 is

First place
:hot2: Linthel (AKA Salamander) :hot2:

Second Place

:fressen: Geris Grey :fressen:
]8) Kurt Villainova ]8)
:mrgreen: Set :mrgreen:

:cooler: Congratulations guys! Look forward to seeing what you have in store for us in the year ahead! :cooler:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Damar is so much a part of Avlis that he should win this every year.
First has to be CALE BROSS, whose snail-paced scouting can melt away party buffs like butter in a hot pan and whose timely use of the voiceset is beyond compare. Above all, in a game where anyone with Greater Sanctuary and various Harm spells can be a murderer, this guy is an assassin. He studies, he stalks, he waits, he stalks, he studies, he wakes, and then he strikes. Game over.
MJ is one of those characters that touches your heart and leaves you with that sweet feeling of, I must find her again.
June is terrific. I love the character concept very much. So creative in her role when in-party. If there was such thing as a psi-cleric, that would be June. She stays IC and sticks to her guns. Keep on rocking, June.
Teleniel: The beastmaster of Avlis these days (or at least the one I remember best from the last year).
Damar: ...We hates him, but we keep on hating him. I guess that is a good thing, if you think about it long enough (and can't find a way to kill him IG yet).
Set is a blast. I have to agree with earlier posts that his behaviors and goals really draw people together in a unique way. The concept is very inclusive by design. He's also kind of a creepy ass which never hurts. Game. Set. Match.
And what more can you say about Kurt Villainova? He's the perfect Malekite priest, a cool counter to the hotheadedness of others of his ilk. He's charming calculating, articulate, and purely, utterly evil.
Always on point, always IC, always looking to help anyone that plays along side.
Cale Bross consistently goes the extra mile to play a convincing master assass... uhhh... scout. Yes. Scout. Nobody does it better, or even close to as well.
If I could vote for MJ twice, I would!
Micah gives us great RP year after year, I could not imagine an Avlis without her in it.
The scariest things about Geris, are the things most people DONT know. Well played
Red is everything that's inherently wrong with the world, and that's perfectly alright, chum.
The depth of characterisation and backstory behind Solveig conspires to make her exceptionally enjoyable to RP with, while ensuring that nothing about her reactions to events ever seems contrived.
Set fanboi!
(Kice and Geris) Both wonderful characters, fully deserving of the title, who always push their RP to the limit, above and beyond what else may be going on in the world.
Cale is so well played and so detailed, I adore him.
Linthel is played like a blackhearted bastard should be played. He is consistently cruel, rude, evil, but all played in a non-disruptive way so that you can still party up with him without being pissed off. Great Player.
Clickie and Linthel both are consistently well played and have a depth to them which makes them a joy to interact with whenever you can.
I've been playing with Ernst since January '11, and what an exciting and rewarding year of stellar RP it's been.
Ernst is delightful, charming, multi-faceted, a bit of an arse, but never boring. Funny, same can be said for his player. ;)
Stellar, stellar characters.(Kurt and Basto)
It was awesome to get Micah back this year. She's not played very frequently, but interactions with her are always memorable. While still not the model of a White Mage perhaps, she's done more capital-G Good than most know.
