May 2010 RPotM RESULTS!

Post by Belasco » Wed Jun 09, 2010 4:03 pm

In first place we have the cause of the "you can only win twice in a calender year" PC, in his first month back with us! The always amazing:

:group3g: Gurky Bogglewig :2thumbs: :applaus:

In second place a new Avlis staple and all 'round awesome PC played by our very own Luscious Wolfy! The fearless flaming mage:

:feuer: Vicmin Firia'hootz :feuer:

Vicmin, oh god, where to start? Funny character, and your standard green mage...Too much mellow, and too much wine...Makes me wonder why he isn't a sorcerer. Anyways, at least all he has to do is snap his fingers and light his pipe, since he is a pyromancer and all.

How have i not had the Playing with Gurky before, I was doing the Laughing and Enjoying of myself... :D (not as good as Gurky obviously... i know)

And returning in full force as one of my favourite character of all time is Sher'cha, just a sweet, innocent young half-nymph with a wicked sense of humour, all while having a level of concern for others and their own personal problem, she keeps it fun while never breaking character for a moment.

Synopsis: Glenda rules!

Gristrome.. A drunk, stinky, careless bastard. At least that is what it looks like! Again a character with so much more then first meets the eye. The relation he has towards other character differ just like in rl! The player is an awesome rper though he doesn't really know it himself.. A toast to Grissie!

Diabolina is a very thoughtful, wise character that I hope to see more of in the future.

Rhissaerk's an enjoyable, and believable character that never feels like a dull moment around him. Very inspirational!

Danga's always a joy, he has that "merchant mystery" about him that mind-boggles with his friendliness. An awesome character all around

Finger and Adriana made the UD fun long after the xp and loot ran out.

Yenefer Urgash knows where to stop short of cliche, parody, and caricature, but she doesn't shy away from nudging things right to the edge. And it gets a slippery out there.

Consistent and serious one moment, silly and carefree the next. There's such depth to Fergus' roleplaying -- the more accurate question is how can I NOT vote for him?

Sonja and Aiko aka The Storm of Chaos. These two are a rotating storm of chaos that always ends up sucking my character into their mayhem but its always a riot to be part of it.

Moriand Moriand Moriand!

Two words. GURKY'S BACK!

Had loads of fun with Ishra this month. Great character, and exceptionally played. Looking forward to new adventures for next month! :)

Mala "the goddess is pleased" Blake. HAA, pure and simple. :)

The return of Gurky is both delightful and inspiring. One of the absolute greats has returned, seek him out!

Tomas continues to be one of the best-played clerics on Avlis. And his beard continues to amaze.

Miriel is like a good bedside book.
Ishra is an orc with a rare skill: the ability to consume amounts of tea that would drown any lesser mortal.

No'tell aka ni'raouth plays a wonderful depressive character. He really represents the death part of the dagath cycle and has a strong view of life and dead. It is great to see how his character slowly is changing with his way to act towards my character.. Kudos to the player and his character who really gives a lot of depth in rp!!

Nzar is a real fun and craizy guy. No matter how big obstacles he face, he just rush in - often without thinking first, which sometimes lead to some fatel consequenses. However, thats not gonna stop him, because now its just even more exciting. The rp from him is so great, that even though my chances to die with him are quite high, its worth the experience.

Fifur is such a sweet and funny dwarf, who truely seem to love his kilts and ales. He is a real joy to hang around with.

May the gods help the green order as Vicmin is the sane and stable one. Fun RP everytime he shows up and you never know what he will say next.

Aiko is one of the very few that plays fey blood so well. Near alway bubbly and like a kid, her mood swings can be so dangerous if you are the target.

In Visimontium, you vote for the Sentinels or we laugh at you for wearing a robe!

I'm throwing my votes down again for Team Valok. You are the golden PCs of Avlis

Fletcher is a superstar!

Glenda and Sheela are both great characters to play with - hours and hours of pure, entertaining RP!

Moriand: The most emo ranger known to Avlis. No seriously, Moriand is a character of great depth. One of the best examples of TN I've ever witnessed.

Angus - cause he is so complex I cant look through his character, this is frustrating!

Athrasan is a whole lot of fun to be around. She's got a great character who knows endless recipes to cook the puny warmbloods with.

Keekee makes me feel like I've just learned the basics of RPing. Her consistent use of emotes and dialogue present one of the strongest and most believable images of a character I've seen. She truly inspires me to want to improve my own writing and RPing skills

Thienna - She is master rolplayer. Always on highest level.

Gurky is back!

Raney is awesome.

Rhisserek never misses a beat.

Fealith is the ultimate type of a charismatic, -but dry as a cork- politician. If leaders are made in a factory, I am pretty sure they use Fealith as a template.

Although I don't play with Fergus that often, I admire the character on the few occassions that I do. He's always sharp, wise and the typical man to trust and rely on.

Nina's character has displayed increasing depth and emotion; and it draws you in.

AEVERAS "Arright" ALTAER
-----
A continuous stream of roleplay bliss. Any time I need my FIX, I just hit up my dog Aeveras yo! Arright?

EOWIN STA'NIETH
-----
A magnanimous roleplayer. He puts up with my PC's crap, plays along with the silliness, and in the end still has the power to turn her little world upside down and boil the seas.

I've not had the chance to play much with Selle, but the short time I have this month left a positive impression.

Moriand Dias - Yeah, I like this one.

Ang, hell, I'm just voting for Ang because his RP can really p*ss folks (me) off! And, he's really good at that. He has 'livened' Elf Gate up.

My vote goes to the elven Avenger of Dru'El, mellow lover and smart ass - Eowin. I have seen a personal character development over the past few months and it's awesome to see that sort of attention to detail still existing.

Eveline, a curious mage hungry for knowledge and rubbing elbows with the best, this character has so much potential and is well thought out.

"you have made the gunpowder yes?" *wiggles eyebrows*
-Gurky Bogglewig

Zon is just plain interesting, One of those characters you see log in and hope you cross, keep it up!!!

That Tomas sure is a Glorious tosser. Glorious, I say!

Brongar Steelbeard is gruff, dour, taciturn, loyal, stubborn, and tough as nails. Everything you should expect from a dwarf. Playing with Brongar is like being invited to a secret land where fantasy dwarves are real. GREAT CLANGEDDIN'S BEARD! I can't believe he hasn't won 1st place yet.

Nija is great fun to interact with. Her player should really log her in far more often.

I know we can't vote for Cassandra again until year's end. Great RP, though!

The family name "Goodmane" really is very accurate metaphor of Fergus as a character.

Liam Dald doesn't seem capable of breaking his own code, and if he has done so it's a testament to the fact that everyone knows there is a code, but no one knows how to pigeon-hole it. It's maddening, really.

Gurky is back, after a long hiatus, and it's like he never missed a day. His return has totally made my month.

Aiko gives the best hugs and ya only blow up 50%of the time!,And vic well he blows up the other 50%

Gurkz is the coolest gnoll to have escaped Nighfang Mountain and an awesome drinking buddy to boot!

Katey, welcome back after such a long absence. You were sorely missed!

Eowin is my favorite Avenger of the month. Somehow, he manages to find himself stuck in a party of pure mayhem and doesn't shoot everyone.

Cause Pleth told me to, Waif-fu ftw.

I picked my character, Mero, because she is a fun character to play and RP as.

One actually wants to see Angus Blacksail on a boat, ordering his to board another!

Elladin is pure class. The archetypal psion-scholar. It's been a joy to RP alongside (and sometimes against) him.

Vicmin is the new kid on the block in magedom, bringing fire, fun and intelligence to the Green Order and putting his personal stamp on Trust affairs. One of my favorite Green mages... keep on rocking, Vic!

Tomas Kelthran - I'm so god damn tired of this pompous douche! In a good way!

Patrick is always refreshing to RPz with.

Seylek - He actually talked at his wedding!!

Evelynn: I haven't talked to much with Evelynn, but she's given me incentive to log in my character. I think it's a great concept. You know when everything comes together from personality, to IC interests, and even down to spell selection.
