NWNX Question - Please help!

Post by DeadNinja » Tue Jun 22, 2004 7:33 am

I have the NWNX2 setup for my friends PW but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to make the sever automatically reset itself after a certain duration of time (am shooting for auto reset every 120 minutes). First I tried looking around for a script that would do this from NWVault and couldn't find anything, then I tried asking in the Bioware Forums and no one answered me. Is it even possible to have NWNX reset the server every 'X' amount of minutes or am I pulling my hair out over here for no reason? Any help in this matter would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

This is stupid. I guess since I am new here I'm not 'popular' enough to get an answer. A shame, I thought this place would be different...

Your post has been on the boards for for what? 60 minutes?
Besides, this is NWN scripting, not the NWNX forum *rolls eyes*

Ever occur to you that people who know about this might actually be sleeping or doing some other activity not related to these boards?

The best place for NWNX help is the NWNX Guild over at Bioware: http://nwn.bioware.com/guilds_registry/ ... l?gid=3087

Yeah I tried asking at the Forum and wasn't answered. After waiting about 3 weeks for an answer and getting zero replies I think it was safe to say that an answer wasn't gonna happen. Sorry all about the rant earlier but this is very frustrating because I know it is possible and yet I can't seem to grasp it.

I'm sure this question has been asked before at the NWNX Guild forum. I'm also fairly certain that it was answered. Since Bioware's website has no search capability for individual guilds, you're going to have to dig for that answer. That's teh best I can offer at this point.

You can also try the http://www.nwnx.org forums. You may have to wait a day or so for a response, but they are active.

The original question is.. well 10 months old, roughly. Not sure why a reply was made by flamebot.
