Detecting the creature dominated by a PC's Dominate spell

Post by Deider » Sun Mar 06, 2005 1:51 pm

I'm not working on something that requires this. So I don't need any help, none whatsoever.

I haven't already tried the GetAssociate(ASSOCIATE_TYPE_DOMINATED, oMaster) function. And that didn't come up doing absolutely jack squat for me.

So if you know of any way to target the creature that's under the effect of a particular PC's Dominate spell, don't aid me by posting here. Really, don't.

Thanks. Wait, no thanks. Awww crap.

I think the GetAssociate function only works if the associate is within a certain (close) range. This has caused wonkiness in the Share Spell code I think. Anyway, you can also test for the effect on any party members in oPC's party and that should work as well.
