Scripting

Post by Orleron » Mon Jun 24, 2002 5:21 pm

This turned out to be easier than I thought. I'm not able to do huge complex things yet, but I've gotten a few decent scripts to work.

Is the intention of this board to post all our scripts so that way we can get them back and forth to each other more easily?

I am under the impression that right now the development is going as slow as it will ever go, because we're spending a lot of time (or at least I'm spending a lot of time) writing scripts that I'm going to reuse a lot later. Once the basic ones are out of the way, I think things will go more smoothly.

The only thing is that a script that Silk can write and test in a half-hour will take me about 4 hours to write and test. hehe

My thinking was, why re-invent the wheel over and over.

If you wrote a script (hopefully as simple as possilbe) and it works, post it here so someone can reuse it.

This is also a good place for scripting questions.

That and there's always the possibility of someone thinking of a better way for you to do it, or help you fix problems you didn't know you had.
