Andrinor's Trust RIP

Post by Katroine » Thu Dec 22, 2022 7:37 pm

The end of an era of magical fun deserved a little shout out.

I played a Trust mage for the better part of 15 years, and a lot of that spent as a Great Mage of Relations for the Gold Order with a seat on the High Mage Council.

Nothing I've played on Avlis compares to the intense and often bitchy (in a good way) roleplay I experienced with the Trust.
Some of my favorite PCs were Trust mages that I got to know because of it. Some of my favorite NPCs too.

I just wanted to give a little love to something that was so wildly huge on Avlis.
The King is dead (gone), long live the Queen.

I look forward to seeing the new path and different directions, too.

Until then, thanks for the hawt mage fun, folks.

The Trust has been the single largest, most impactful thing I've done for the past 15 years too. My main probably bleeds violet. A core part of his identity that was pretty hard to let go, but at the same time, I'm really pumped about new opportunities. It was time to let go.

It's absolutely a very bittersweet thing. I know it had to happen, which does make it a bit easier, but still sucks. I hope the new direction facilitates the same high level RP that made me love playing a mage in the Trust. With the new options, I think it's very refreshing and I look forward to that same spark being rekindled to uncover new and great things for the next 15 years of entertainment. :prost:
