I like how I can bring a PC of nearly any level to an event and have a mix of spawns where I can actually hit something. .. even if I know I need to avoid others and let higher level characters handle those.

I like how there's always something story driven about an event, even a combat heavy one, where class and skill and character takes precedent over level.

I love how a character can step up and be important because they fit in due to how they RP and not only how good their build is mechanics wise.

I love how everyone's included, if at all possible.

I love how the tokens and heroes items have let my level 12 character put together her first nice armor set without needing to crump dungeons for gold.

I love the layered storytelling

I love how your events are both stand-alone and intertwined, so a player can have fun in a one-off while those of us who like puzzle boxes can dig deeper.

I love how you put backstories to all your NPCs to enrich the story that is Avlis.

I appreciate how much over and above time you take outside of each plot to help players reach their goals and how you're willing to go out of your way to assist people whenever possible, in many different ways.

I totally agree with everything Ambrosia and Plethora said above. Especially the part that you do everything you can to include us all. I no longer feel like I miss out all the fun things by being a Euro. However, sometimes I can’t help but wonder - when do you sleep? :D
Thank you for all your great events and for being around us. You are amazing :D

i really like the fact the two events happen at the same time. It's such a cool concept and really opens up the same event to a much larger yet more managable to DM size group.

really well done.

What does the "e" stand for? Exciting, engaging, exhilarating, empowering, eccentric, enticing?

You're the best, dude. Thanks for all your efforts for us nutters. :)

OMG the animation on those giant beholder things! ("Die already!") And using the area to make a layered defense....and still making it different and challenging for those who attend both events with different characters. SUPER!!

At times, the strength of a story can be measured by the emotional impact it has on an audience. Be them readers for books, viewers for movies, or players for games.

In the case of the kobold plot ending today, with its bittersweet beauty, awesome use of set pieces, and excellent finale - it brought me literal tears. They were happy, exciting, and bittersweet tears.

Thanks very much for this! As someone who is a huge fan of kobolds and dragons I've thoroughly enjoyed this plot line (I'm not a morning person so it was worth getting up early on a Saturday for!) Also it's been a blast playing with this little group. I'll be sad to see things end but also happy and curious to see where things will go.

Fantastic DMing, great play group, and absolutely fun and heart-wrenching.

TL;DR Thanks! Kobolds made me cry in a good way! This was fantastic!

This whole week has been a worldwind of wonderful in-character moments for Auryna and the very fun undead hunt, being able to experiment with new spells, and the surprise of the shield tonight was a very, very fun way to end the week.

I smiled for two hours.

What a blast of an amazing plot too.

thank you for all you do! :D
