The plot last night was super fun, the players actually shared with the group what was going on so those of us not 'in the know' actually knew what was going on, and two n00bs (level 7 and 9) actually WENT TO HELLBY and LIVED 'cause she was more interested in allowing us to participate in the story than worry about levels. - I've never even been to Hellybe with AJ at 40 LOL

I had intended to rave the wedding, and I will.. However, I had another thought which seemed more pressing, so here's my first 'rave' - .. because how I feel about you as a person or as a DM goes beyond the amazing things you do for me/all of us in game and speaks to the quality of person you are as an incredible human being.



I don't think I've ever specifically thanked you in rave form for bringing me back to CoPaP. Getting your PM YEARS after I had left CoPaP to say I was missed and to invite me to return to Avlis has remained a top-ever memory in my mind. They say people will always remember how you made them feel, and you, my friend, made me feel unbelievably special that day. I didn't even know anyone remembered me, much less wanted me back, and to get your message out of the blue made my decade.

You making that choice changed my life, because if you hadn't have invited me back, not only would I not be here as a player, I wouldn't be here as a team member, nor would I have ever met Lucidic, who is, absolutely, the love of my life and my soul mate.

It may seem sometimes like what you do is "only a game" but it isn't. You impact real people every day in amazing, and, at least in my case, absolutely life changing ways.

Thank you, Pleth, more than I can say with words. I can only hope I show up for you in your life as much as you have blessed mine.

Plethora is the Best!

I was informed earlier today I had forgotten to give here a RAVE for the INCREDIBLE wedding she pulled off for Del and AJ. She set up a McGruffin for them to discover the underwater grotto, and came up with the brilliant idea of using Desert landscape for an underwater area! All the sand worked wonderfully as an underwater setting. And the hunt after the ceremony was a Pelarite Dream! How often do we get a chance to hunt something twice the size of a dragon. Everything was wonderful. The only downside is my failure to let everyone know how wonderful we found the event. There was a lot of time put into this wedding, and I apologize for my delay in letting everyone know just O+HOW wonderful it was!

So I don't tend to do this 'rave' thing. Perhaps because I'm English, perhaps because it can seem unfair singling out some while leaving out others (and never entirely sure who might be lurking in the DM channel), but I will throw this in for Pleth, who has been an absolute rock, and responsible for almost all my most memorable moments on Avlis.

Despite claiming - repeatedly - "not to understand psionics", she has always supported my somewhat obstinate desire to push ahead with a psion PC, and thrown all manner of appropriate challenges in his way! Either she plans everything to minutest detail, or wings it impressively, but either way the lady doth protest too much, methinks. She understands how these characters fit into the world, and that is more than enough.

A wonderful DM; a storyteller who allows PCs to shape the story as well as being prodded along by it. I just wish I had more time to log in, and particularly when Plethora sitting in front of the DM client.

The first day I met Verrossa I was shaking in my boots.
I thought I was in for it. Though I was in for something wonderful.
Not only did she save me from a glitch she introduced me to my history, my lore. She did it in such a way that she made you believe it was your idea.
Through all the events, Pleth's stories, her motivations are your motivations.

Avlis is a world where Pleth, makes you a part of it. And totally has your back.
