Please HELP me.

I have read FAQ ? #26 and I have done as it says. I still cannot log into the Elysia server. It stil tells me I have an incorrect password. I have checked it over and over and over again and I am typing everything in correctly, with the proper case, without spaces, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc.

Can someone PLEASE look into this for me.

Are you the player mentioned here?

One question: Is it just Elysia that you have trouble with, or is it all of them? Which others have you tried (e.g. Mikona? LeOr? etc.)

I have tried Mikona and it works fine. Also, I can get into Elysia by taking a ship from Mikona but I can't log directly in and here is a screenshot so you know that I am typing it correctly.

ummmmm.... how do I attach a screenshot?

Second, did you make sure you have the caps in the right places?
Third, do you have all the required haks?

As I said in the first place, yes I typed the caps all correctly. Proper case.

ummmmm.... how do I attach a screenshot?

Please try another server, e.g. LeOr.

I want to know if it is just Elyisa that you can't log into, or if it is just Mikona that you can log into.

If you're using Direct Connect, you know that you have to change the port number don't you? (i.e. the 5121 number at the end, it is different for each server). I only ever use Direct Connect, I find the Gamespy interface troublesome and not reliable.

First Welcome to Avlis

Secondly, take a deep breath and please be polite to the people who really do want to help.

If you can get into Mikona you can get to Elysia if you need to with out having to type any passwords. But if you're trying to log directly into Elysia:

1. Go ahead and double check your caps lock isn't on or any of the other silly little mistakes we all make.

2. Give it a couple of minutes before trying again. On the rare occasion the password gets changed so the server can fully reboot before it gets changed back.

Yes I know they change the password to reset sometimes but I seriously doubt that they reset 6 times a day. I also tried logging out in Elysia and trying to log back on immediately after that so the likelyhood of it being a reset is about %0.00

Anybody have any ideas as to what is causing me to only be able to access Mikona?

Sounds like you're not putting the serverport on correctly and its defaulting to the Mikona server so the other passwords dont work.

Try choosing them from the list in gamespy and typing in the password. That might be more successful

Hmm.. it couldn't be something to do with firewall blocking those port numbers could it? But then if it was, how could he portal from Mikona to Elysia?

Run NWN.

Choose multiplayer.

Choose join internet game.

In the list of servers look for 'CoPaP - Avlis - <Servername>'

Double click on relevant server.

Enter password

One last minor detail...

When you say you've tried it 6 times. Have you been on Mikona (or any other Avlis server) before then, within the past hour before trying to hop?

Meaning...

10AM: Mikona
10:30: Try jumping to Elysia

There is a 1 hour "hop" prevention between servers. You can go to them by walking over transitions, between, or taking boats etc. But you can't log out of Mikona and into Elysia directly. You can log in and out of the same server just fine though.

Also to note, some of the servers are no-hop, ever. Like Underdark <-> Anywhere else, for instance.

Following Alphonse's post is a good way to use Gamespy.

Just remember to select the PW Story category when looking for the CoPaP servers.

#### means any number between 5121-5130. You did use those numbers, and not just ####, right?

Sigh. Elysia works now. Can someone tell the staff that the welcome email TELLS you to put the word port in there?
