ntdll.dll ?
Recently I have had a lot of crashes while enjoying Avlis. This always happens during transitions and the frequency has escalated. The error report always mentions the file ntdll.dll
Now I have a computer with the following spec.
1GB RAM
3.19 Ghz P4
Radeon Ati 9800 xt
I have tried the following.
Reinstalling NWN, updating graphic drivers and also setting the graphic down on my computer. Nothing has helped sofar and thus turn to you for advice. Any ideas or suggestions would be most welcome.
On a sidenote i would like to mention that running the configure for the graphics does not work , getting the message "cannot write to nwnconfigure.ini"

AFAIK the latest drivers for the Radeon series were not compatible with NWN very well. I have a Radeon 9600 XT and am using the OMEGA drivers and these work well for me.

hope that helps.

I haven't looked that much but it seems that ntdll.dll is a critical Windows file.
If Talwin's tips works then all is good but if not try to download a copy of the dll from here http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?ntdll . It goes into either C:\Windows\System32\ or C:\WinNt\System32\ depending on your setup.
If that won't work I'm afraid you'll have to reinstall Windows.

Also, when you reinstall video drivers be sure to purge the system of the old drivers!
I used this program, and then installed the omega drivers once the system was purged.

Always consider alignment as a tool, not a straitjacket that restricts the character.
