How do you...
I know, these probably seem pretty obvious, but for some reason, I can't figure them out, so I thought I'd ask.
How do you sit on the ground for more than a few seconds?
How do you do the [whisper] and [party] messages?
I felt especially stupid about the second one, since someone was [whispering] to me and I had to reply normally. And how does that work anyway? Is it like a tell, or can someone nearby hear it?

the talking parts are right next to where you type your text. the little box to the left is clickable and pops up a small choice menu. remember party also goes to the DM channel and can upset some wand carriers if used too often.
The other is the bioware crafting menu that has been changed to a emote wand. I forget the exact selections but its "emote by category" then i think "miscilaneous" and there is "sit on the ground" its somewhere in there. as long as you keep the menu open your character will stay planted. even if you close it they will stay planted a lot longer then the 2 sec.
oh and yeh whisper is a lot shorter of a range then the regular talk range. thats probably why you see *whispers* for the others that are far enouph away not to see the text, but IG would see the players lips moving and whispering to another close by.

One problem with using the menu on the side for choosing what chanel to talk in is that you can forget to switch out of one when you need to talk normal.
As an alternative, you can use the following prefixes to manualy use a channel.
/w Whispers
/p Party chat and broadcast to all DMs
/dm This is a DM only channel. Not even the player who types it sees what he said.
So, lets say you wanted to whisper a bit of gossip about someone, it would look something like this.
/w That Gracie has very recognizable legs. She could Dominate my Person anytime.
