Area Bug: What to do?

Post by Krator » Wed Dec 14, 2005 5:12 pm

What do you do if your screen looks like this:

The area is made in the CCS tileset (Kuras Temple of Toran), which is in a hak. However, all CEP placeables look like this too..

Anyone has thoughts? These are new downloads of the haks.

Looks like a texture problem, hrm. You might need to simply reload the module, or possibly to muck about with your desktop and/or NWN video settings (i.e. lower until it looks right). If that doesn't work, you might try replacing the hak with another copy of the same.

I've had something similar on occasion, but it was colored flashes that came and went as I moved. Did it always look like that, or did it fluctuate as you traveled around?

Shutting down the program and restarting has always gotten rid of it for me. It seems to have been influenced by luminescent gear I was wearing. The flashes were purple and the gear gave off purple light. If you use something that glows white then I would really think its related to that.

Looks like the problem I've got on my laptop. I blame the as always useless SiS chipset for that.

So unless you're sitting on a laptop as well have you made sure that you've got the latest videocards and/or mainboard's AGP drivers?

The screenshot is fine. It's the churning you've blacked out, it's making you go blind, and you're just experiencing the first stages.
