I stumbled across a resource I thought might be helpful to others, and I hadn't seen anything about it here: NWNWiki. It's got most, if not all of the information that you would find in the manual, and a bit of additional information/tips here and there.

More specific to Avlis, they have a section devoted to persistent worlds. Maybe someone would be up for writing up a shpiel about Avlis? I have no idea what traffic they might or might not get, but it couldn't hurt, right?
