CEP: I just wanna perv over my body

Post by Xeo » Fri Oct 07, 2005 8:21 am

For some reason and its been starting to become annoying that robes don't show up as a graphic on my PC or others. CEP Robes won't show, I must have a dud CEP hak or something.

Tried refreshing and saying please to the monitor to appear. So if I do have a pants CEP pack, does any have a safe site? Or theres a patch I'm missing?

Thanks in advance.

I know if I was on the battlefield and I got hit by a pile of shit... I'd probably go home.

This happens to me too and it is driving me nuts! I hope someone has useful advice on this one. Being able to see through my character was not so bad at first but the novelty wears off fast :P

Hmm, have you tried re-equiping the robe? This is a bug that happens to me every so often. Sometimes my armor will appear without a cloak, then I re-equip it and it will have a 'pitch-black' cloak, the I re-equip it again, and it's back to normal.

But I've seen stuff with permanent missing robes after the new CEP hak, the High Guards of Dranuhl for instance, they've only got hands, feet and a head these days.

Of course we tried re-equipping, that does not fix it. :)

Oops, I thought you ment that you had downloaded the CEP pack again, and reinstalled it

Well, if the re-equipping didn't work, then I'm out of guesses :)

Have you tried all of the following:

- Restart your PC
- Make sure your .tlk files are not in your hak folder
- Empty out your override
- Redownload your CEP haks
- Check your graphics card drivers (maybe they updated, or NWN updated to need them)
- Reinstall NWN from scratch

If none of these work for you, then I'm out of ideas. I had the same issue at one point, and fixed it by reinstalling the CEP haks.

Get this more often than not as well… CEP robes just seem so buggy, looking for an excuse to blink out of existence! Like… let’s say I hit my 30% chance for them to appear, and there they are all pretty and stuff.. then I hit alt-tab to check the forums or something… then when I go back into the NWN application the robes will inevitably be disappeared. Or, go through an area once, they are there, trans out, come back again, now they are gone!

I guess I can try re-installing CEP, not going to re-install NWN over some robes, though, heheh. Whenever I see somebody with only head, hands, and feet showing, I just assume they have one of those robes on, it’s not the end of the world.

:) :)

Anyone found a solution to this problem with client side overrides?
