dropped armour

Post by craig6870 » Sat Jun 25, 2005 3:34 pm

I feel really stupid but i've dropped a set of Shaahesk full plate that has been dyed a steel colour somewhere between Mikona docks and Westshore.
If anyone has found it or has any information could you please get in touch.I can't get back on-line till monday so any help would be great.

Can't beleive i've been so daft.

Is this something you dropped because you changed clothes without space in your inventory? Thats a notorious way to lose armour or weapons. There is an associated bioware bug that often means that even if you notice and pick the item up, it may vanish from your inventory later. Be very careful with a full inventory.

And dont feel too daft, I lost a +3 shield in an equally daft manner.

Its an occupational hazard of crafters an overloaded inventery. I always either rest or use the emote wand to save my character when i pick up a dropped item. Good old Bioware still managed to loose an axe of mine once even when i had done that so even that is not foolproof.

dropped armour

Post by craig6870 » Mon Jun 27, 2005 1:03 pm

Thanks for the feedback guys, it looks like I'll have to buy a new set.
Pretty sure i remember where i got it and i'll need to keep an eye on having a full inventory.
I know i dropped the armour in the docks but picked it up again so it could be the bug that was mentioned.
Anyway thank's for your help i don't feel quite so silly now.
