Knockdown : a little help?

Post by Alphonse » Fri Feb 11, 2005 12:34 pm

I tried searching to find this, but it seems searching through 200+ threads when someone will be able to answer this in seconds seems a bit pointless.

What feats are prerequisites for knockdown

None according to the manual (but we all know how correct that one is)

i vaguely recall power attack being needed, but i might be confusing knockdown with cleave. Either way if someone can give me a definate answer that would be grand

Knockdown has no prerequisite.

Improved Knockdown requires Knockdown (obviously) and an INT of 13+.

Knockdown - see above.
Cleave - AFAIK, strength 13+.

Yes, but cleave also requires power attack.

Dare I ask about the other 4.4%?

*shudders* Better not think too hard about what could be wrong with it.

The other 4.4% would be the amount possessed by wrinkled old grandmothers that you wouldn't really want to have displayed in a public manner.

*grins* It depends on what you mean by great :)

If you mean great as in huge then I would have to disagree :)

*thinks of Jordan and shudders*

But if you mean great as in good/nice then that it is a totally different matter :)

Honestly I don't think you necessarily have to have great cleavage, but I do wonder why you need 13 int for it...

((Guy mode on))

In the next patch Bioware has added:

-Improved Cleav(ag)e: The fighter has trained hard, but not met satisfactory results. A trip to her local alchemist empowered her with this artifically enhanced cleav(ag)e that can floor many. However, most other female fighters can tell it is not her original.

-Stunning Cleav(ag)e: When caught in close combat, the opponent must make a will save or stand open mouth and dazed for 1d4 rounds + (skimpiness level of outfit)

-Overwhelming Cleav(ag)e: Things are REALLY out of control in bosom land... While in Power Attack mode, a successful cleav(ag)e hit will do an additional 2d6 of damage.

-Terrifying Cleav(ag)e: No those aren't 2 saddle bags she's carrying around her waist! A quick flash while in combat can send all but the most stout (or really desperate) opponents fleeing in terror. This effect lasts for 1d6 rounds, and the horrible image lasts a lifetime.

-Devastating Cleav(ag)e: Sure the warrior has back problems, and she needs to have "Bigby's supporting hands" cast on her in order to stand upright, but when she lets Devastating Cleav(ag)e fly, Opponents must make a reflex save against her bra size or suffer instant smothering, resulting in death. A successful save still deals 3d6 crushing damage and leaves a permanent smile on the opponent's face.

Unfortunately...I'm sure these will be nerfed by the team, :( So, once again, those A cup having mages will still be uber.

((Guy mode off))

;)

Thaylis Beign: Morgan, did you cast recitation?
Morgan Thornheart: Yes
