- bonus feat/ 3 levels of epic blackguard - not a bad selection of feats to choose from.

- +1d6 sneak / 3 levels of blackguard

- Summoned fiend improved every 5 levels with 2 HD, 2 nat. armor, 1 Str., and 1 Int

Thats what my HotU manual tells me anyway

I'm going to say it works for Blackguards as it's listed as an epic Blackguard feat.
Currently on Eastern Time - 5 GMT.

Extra Smiting increases the number of smites you get to 3, regardless of whether it's Smite Evil, Smite Good, or Smite Chicken.

Improved Smite doubles the Smite damage from any type of Smite... again, whether it's Good, Evil, Poultry, or whatever.

Smite whore! The only smite that does no damage.

Greater Smite or whatever that epic feat is called is nice but it is outside the abilities of most players since it requires a Chr: 25 and a Wis: 25. Wemics and Half-nymphs only need apply sort of thing.

yes you can reach it with a human, but you have to basically use an absurd number of other feats to boost your charisma to get it soon enough that you can get practical use of it (since Greater Smite I is not near as interesting as Greater Smite III).

I looked at it once but gave it up as not worth the investment...your milage will vary. But since smite "x" is not exactly something that you routinely use its hard to justify this. With the number of smite attempts from 3.5 it would be significantly more interesting.

But if you are trying to get it...you should aim to get Greater Smite I at level 29 or there abouts this will allow for Greater Smite IV by lvl 38.

Wemics have no + to Wisdom and -2 to Charisma so I'm curious how Wemics would be able to get this....

Possibly because you can chuck your ability points into char and wis as Con and Str are upped at the outset?

You can find the info in the in game description or in the Neverwinter Grimoire, the HotU manual is missing it. Here you go:
Great Smite
Type of Feat: (Epic) General
Prerequisite: CHA 25, 21st level, Smite Evil or Smite Good
Specifics: Whenever the character makes a successful smite attack, it adds 2x the characters level to damage. This feat may be taken multiple times, up to a maximum of 10x.
Use: Combat

Ooops my mistake it is planar turning that needs the 25 Wis&25 Chr...You just need a 25 Chr for Greater Smite.

Chr 25 is not impossible but you need to devote a lot of feats to boosting your charisma to get it soon enough that it will do you any good and more feats to take it mulitple times so that a smite is something to be feared that I doubt the sense in doing so. But your milage will vary...

As for Wemics it is done, as previously pointed out, by using the points you save from inital strength and con which can go into your charisma so you have a easier time getting it sooner...a -2 Chr hurts a bit in that...so a half-nymph obviously is the way to go *sigh*

Bah. Charisma is overrated... frankly, if you're going to take a Holy Warrior PrC, you aren't aiming for power, so Improved Smite seems pointless.

*hugs his Charisma 10 holy warrior wannabe*

That said, Smite Good will probably lead to her developing a drink problem. Mmm. Grainshots.

* Sunder downs his grainshot in toast, and promptmly has an Orcish Apple Cider chaser*

*burp*

To me, Smite Good isn't really all that, but that's probably because Sunder only has 12 Cha to start with.
Plus, it's hard to figure who to use it on ( besides the obvious paladin of course). Too bad Blackguards don't have a " detect good" ability like those blasted Pallys ( that would rock! ).

Bah... Smite isn't about the attack bonus or the damage, Sunder, that's just a happy side effect. It's the ability to say "I SMITE YOU IN THE NAME OF *insert god*!" *Smite*.
