More Toolset Questions

Post by Alphonse » Mon Jan 24, 2005 8:44 am

rather than bother the team with this I thought there are probably a load of builders who can help me with these questions.

1. Naming Conventions - What are the naming conventions for areas, transitions, and invididual placeables?
edit - OK. seems i managed to miss this whole section of Psyco's thread. my bad

2. The pool that a lot of buildings seem to have. Is this a special item that needs prior team approval, and if not where do i find it?

Cheers guys

Don't know what you precisely mean with pool, but if you mean the fountain that gives the drink potion animation and "You feel refreshed", it's a script that is in the avlis_housing.erf file, called ply_fountain.

It's a tile feature from the castle interior tileset. It requires a floor tile on all 8 surrounding tiles though, so bathing areas tend to get big. Otherwise no permissions needed, but perhaps Psyco will stuff it under "extra luxurious accomodations" and charge you a bundle for it.
So much fun,
yet so little time to enjoy it.
