Newbie question: cloaks?

Post by the_KaJ » Sun Dec 19, 2004 6:56 pm

I don't really consider this 'metagaming' or whatever but if it is i guess i can learn the hard way:

Where can we buy/make/whatever visible cloaks and hoods? Many pc's i see run around in them, but tell me privately u cant get them in elysia or mikona.
-same question about all the custom clothes/robes etc. doesnt seem to be any in the market stores (mayb im missing them?)

If you really want me to, i guess i can figure it out for myself, but that would seem silly since the idea of 'seeing' the cload is an OOC one, and IC any old rag wrapped about you would be a cloak or hood, etc.

Thank you in advance to whoever answers this :)

The cloaks you see are part of the armour model and so unfortunately it's not possible to buy or craft a cloak that shows.

However, there are a few suits of armour here and there that do have the cloak so with regards to finding one it's a matter of:

A. Good luck

B. Joining a Guild whose guild armour has such a cloak (though I wouldn't recommend joining any guild just for the cosmetic effect of their armour  )

you can also go to hala or rockhome, where the armor crafting works, and attach a cloak to your armor.
Gaming doesn't make people voilent, lag does

Its your neck slot you have to modify to add a cloak to your armor
<Fuzz> thankfully, no one quotes me
<GairusWHO> I think so... but don't quote me on that.
<NWDuneAuron> in other news, study proves studies don't prove anything!

Doesn't work on Rockhome for me anymore, just says "You cannot use bioware crafting at this time"....
