Your only safe bet is to put it in a magic bag and keep it on you. If someone tells you incorrectly that it is either a NWN item or an Avlis Item, and it's not, ~poof~ goes your Duncloddings Hilt on server reset.

All Avlis items are in all the module palettes. If you know for a fact that it is a palette item in the wilderness it is safe elsewhere in Avlis as well.

The only expection to this is where a module has not yet been updated to include new items. If that is the case then the item will vanish if you put it in a p-chest, but it will turn up again when the module is updated.

my m'check snipers armour disappeeared from my inn room chest.

The hilt was dropped by a monster in a DM'd expedition. therefore i assume it is in the wilderness palatte. Please correct me if i am wrong

Possibly not, it doesn't sound like something the monster would drop normally so the DM may have put the item on the monster...

This information was, oddly enough, supplied by someone in the Rant thread I wrote ;)

If it was dropped by an Avlis DM, then it's in the Avlis palette. Currently the Wilderness and Le'Or have the oldest palettes, so it should store just fine anywhere.

FYI, props go to PJ for this. Susan is the prototype for his new p-merchant code.

R&R for all your information needs!

With a healthy dose of stfu idiot thrown in.

That is my opinion, not nessasarily anyone else's opinon, might just be, but that would be a coincodence, and damnit, sometimes the crap I write is not even my opinion either.
