Moving the camera with the mouse wheel

I used to move the IG camera around by holding down the mouse wheel. Recently I got a new computer and a new mouse (windows intellimouse) and this function no longer works. I cannot seem to find anywhere where I can reset this function. Does anyone know how to do this?

Did you get any software with the mouse? When I got my new one, I had to sort through about 20 different set up schemes to find the one that worked in the same way that my old mouse worked. It doesn't help that none of them are named anything useful.

I'm pretty sure mine is an intellimouse and it seems to work, all I can control with the wheel is the zoom though. There are settings under the "control options" menu for mouse, maybe you need to change something in there?

back when i had an intellimouse in 2000 playing UT i had to quit the driver softwares for it to work.

The mouse works fine. Installing the drivers from the disk provided was easy. I can still use it to zoom in and out, I just can't hold the wheel down and use this to move the camera around. I will look in the mouse options again.

Make sure you didn't remap the middle button in the mouse config software.

If it's not default, NWN wont recognize it as the middle button. Nor will many other games.

That might be it. I did change it as it was set to jump to the next window when clicked. I have reset it and will see whether it works the next time I log on.
