Dam Resistance

Does dam resistance stack?
Example: If I have a 5/- slashing resistance belt and a 5/- slashing resistance gloves,armor, ring etc, will it mean I have a 10/- slashing overall?

Resistance doesnt stack with resistance.

It does stack with soak though.
