Bitmap image is not valid

Help me please!

I came home today expecting to log in as usual. I try to start NWN and I get a window with a message: 'Bitmap image is not valid'

Has anyone encountered this before? How do I fix it?

I'd like to know if there is a fix short of reloading everything. I'm locked out of Avlis til I figure this out.

PLEASE HELP ME!

A quick search on the forum brings the following suggestions :

~ Make sure you have latest video driver for your card
~ Make sure you have the latest DirectX version (9.0c), which you can get from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... layLang=en
~ Uninstall and reinstall NWN completely. Make sure you copy out anything you want to keep first though (like Avlis haks, screengrabs, logs etc)

Thanks for the replies. I managed to get in game and found that a good number of the icons and graphics were just white squares. Final solution, I had to reinstall. Now every thing seems fine.
