A topic I bring up in all forums, but...

Post by SpitwolF » Tue Aug 24, 2004 12:07 pm

Has anyone ever made an evil druid and made him really interesting?

Were they crazy?

Just pure evil?

I've never made one and would like to know how someone has done in the past.

thanx

Well. Basicly evil druid does not go and massmurder people. He/She uses people to his advantage and is very selfish and respects powerful people in general, sort of "gather powerful allies" and gets to the "side of power"... Reason for this is that first of all, evil druid is WISE and usually quite intelligent too, evil druid doesn't rush into situations which are not benefical for him/her. He/She should always try to gain some advantage of situations... You could say that sometimes even good people don't know there's evil druid among them...

Essentialy, the evil druid is NOT those NPC druids of Verossa. They are more along the lines of "Hey, look! A large party of epic level characters! Let's piss them off with an entangle spell, then stand around doing nothing as they slaughter us with a glance!" :)

The PC druids of Verossa are much wiser...

Tangleroot is the funniest evil druid that ever walked away scratching his head from a birthday party :D

like poisoning a town, from the inside?

I suppose like the shadow druids I read about. They only like nature, they will try and destroy any means of village or town they can.

All druids of Verossa are chaotic evil, but there's not many of us. I know of that maybe two are active now, and Tangleroot's kinda hiding right now... But he's definitely evil and crazy. Here's some tidbits from Deity section -
Fire, flood, title waves and monsoons bring death, but also cleanse the world of those who would harm nature. Man, Elf or Dwarf, all must bow before the might of nature and the forces it controls, if any become so arrogant as to presume to control or harm nature, they will be struck down.

Men destroy, Elf controls, Dwarf harvest, all need to be punished for the folly of their ways, and this is best done though the power of nature itself.
There's always more room for druids who harass lumberjacks and other greedy bastards. Join us now and experience the joy of eco-terrorism. We even have couple of nice temples where to worship. Tangleroot might be also sought out by letters (pm me if necessary) if a new druid of Verossa emerges.

And yeah, it can be hard combining high wisdom with random destruction. It helps if you're fanatic and crazy.

Heh I like him ^^

My druids always scared off lumbers and hunters. But they were not evil. But ofcourse... they didn't send tidlewaves at em hehe.

I like the idea though. Lets see if you can change the view of my druid :)

I LIKE IT :D

Just because there are only a few druids of verossa does not mean you will be alone in the world. The Reavers of Maleki accept his lover's druids as kin.

That is my opinion, not nessasarily anyone else's opinon, might just be, but that would be a coincodence, and damnit, sometimes the crap I write is not even my opinion either.

Maybe people do not like to RP them? I've always tried to make my druids more interesting characters and so much less like bloody clerics heh.
