CD Key tied to Gamespy name?

I'm trying to convince my boyfriend to give NWN (and Avlis) a try. He's interested but doesn't want to buy another copy of the game until he's tried it out.

So if I let him use my CD key (obviously when I'm not online) to make a separate gamespy name, if and when he gets a new copy of the game with a new CD key, will he be able to use the his gamespy name with that new key? Or will he have to make a new gamespy name, meaning making new characters, yes?

I tried to search for this on the Bioware forums and got nothing.

Gamespy names are not bound to cdkeys.
I have played in my boyfriends cdkey, he on mine.

So you can let him have a try on your cd's.
