Abyss Server and Character Description Changes

Post by Maigrey » Mon Jul 26, 2004 4:09 pm

I tried to enter the abyss server to use the function to change my character description because I forgot that people can't look at you and see that you are a half-nymph, elf or human.

But, when I get into the server it doesn't give me the option of bringing my character into the world.

Is there another way to change my character description

Abyss is not yet linked into CoPaP. I've recently taken over management and operations to create the link will soon be set in motion.

Until that link exists chars can't transfer between Abyss and assorted worlds.

You can't just randomly log into any CoPaP server anyway. You need to get your character to physically travel from one plane to another (i.e. by portaling) to transfer your .bic file to a new server anyway.

The Abyss isn't somewhere you would want to go on holiday either. Its a pretty dangerous world I am not totally sure that the return portal will be all that easy to find (unlike some other worlds).

Nope, from what we've been told it'll be rather hard to get at, and you may need DM permission to use it. IE, us Abyssal probably wouldn't be going anywhere for a while even if we wanted too. =D
