A funny thing about mail

I keep getting messages in my mail from staff@avlis.org that i got a new message, and when i logg in to Avlis i got no new messages?

There is an option in your forum profile which if its set, will send you an e-mail each time someone replies to a post you have made.. like this one .. heh

I got them too until I turned it off (was annoying). Perhaps the forum keeps emailing you until you read ... once / 24 hrs or something?
