How to set description?

I'm embarrassed to be asking this, but how do I set/edit the character description text for an established character?

I know the method is probably glaringly obvious, like a big red button somewhere with "EDIT DESCRIPTION" written on it in flashing letters, but for the life of me I can't find it.

Mercy on a newbie? Please?
