More than one damage type (e.g. bludgen and piercing)

Post by Dirk Cutlass » Fri Jan 09, 2004 12:57 pm

I was searching the forum about weapons with more than one damage type. I came across this article viewtopic.php?t=16805&highlight=extra+melee+damage.

It seemed to suggest that this was not working correctly. Anyone know if the latest NWN version has it fixed.

In particular I was interested in using the morning star, which supposedly does bludgen and piercing damage. It is supposed to take the better of the two types, e.g. if the target had piercing immunity the bludgeon damage still gets through. However, the quoted thread suggested that this was not working (at least back a few months ago).

Anyone know if it is working now?

Damn

Noticed this a week ago with a dissolving halberd (slashing/piercing) on the wilderness server when culling the verossan druids. Not noticed it on a morning star.

Roland uses a morningstar as a backup weapon for sereg and greater belt sporting elves, and I have noticed it only works as bludgeoning.
