Antialiasing in NWN

Post by KinX » Sat Dec 27, 2003 5:56 am

i'm just curious about this

i've been playing around with this setting lately, going from turned off to max and haven't really noticed any difference at all.

Anyone else?

The biggest difference I see is in the frame rate :)
It looks a bit better as well though.

closer stuff seemd to be anit aliased, farther stuff wasn't. That is what it looked like at least.

it defintely helps the jagged edges, though maxing it just gives you a framrate hit and doesnt help much.

Quinquix is the best if yu have a decent system, looks good, and has good performance.

i think Quinquix is a bit blury... i normally use 2x or 4x Antialiasing. And i definitely notice the difference at any zoom level.

Instead of AA
You could try increasing your resolution.

EDIT : I forgot to mention this, if you;re already running at high resolutions say >1280x1024 you won't notice 'Jack Shit' :P
