In Need Name Of a Town, Inn, A few Key NPC's in Deglos

I have 11 days untill i buy SoU....

So i am very very bored untill then... all my posting i do at work cause that is boring too!

So is there like a module or a short story i could create for avlis and send to a DM to look at?

Its more of me having something to do and also to start learning how to use the toolset..........

Weather its is good or crap but gives me something to do.

So its like a project being given to a student? I hope you know wot i mean?

I am not looking for it to be used or even intergrated into Avlis.... just something to do! agggggggggghhhhhhhhhh so bored

Just a test thats what i mean. a mini project for a bored soul..

a) write up a fantastic background story for your character, that contains lots of hooks and ideas for DM's to get involved (make sure it has the ability to include lots of other characters too).

b) join the FanFic site and write / read some stories

c) do a search for "the Order of Gorethar are a bunch of thugs" or "the Order of Gorethar killed my summons" - those threads should take about 11 days to read!

d) use the toolset to design your house, for when your character can afford on in-game

e) play the single-player campaign (again)

f) download SOU from the Internet and use that until your legit copy arrives (don't cancel the legit copy ... and don't quote me!)

so let me get this straight

I can make a home for my character for avlis?????????

I can build one is that right? may of got that wrong but something i was thinking in future...

My character background has a good open story behind him and it will leave it open for DM's to use to interact with and use for as they wish.

I just need some names of places within the Deglos because i won't know them untill i made the character and went in and explored plus deglos i am not starting from, i am going to start from the recommend server on this website. Also Once create can't edit it that will be to late to change the biography.

1- Need a Name of a Inn in Delgos
2- Name of a village or town that inn is in
3- Any names of crafting houses or training schools within that percific town
4- Any NPC who is a leader of that town or crafting house aswell

I promise not to make a history for this character that would involve NPC'S on a good or bad way and rewrite any Factual History for Deglos....

The Foaming Mug, home of the Dwarf Brigade.
The Sloppy Elf, standard tavern/inn

Both of these are in Nanshi Urbaz of Deglos. The first settlement you will reach if entering from the T'Nashi forest. The lesser God Fegall has a strong following here and any crafting houses would actually be temples to him.

Much of Deglos is still being developed, so there are going to be many towns and Inns that are not build or discovered by players yet.

Yes, you can create your own house and submit it to Marauder the housing director. I had alot of fun doing this as mine was the first area ever I had with the toolset and it turned out suprizingly well. However, housing is EXRTREMELY expensive, so dont expect to be able to pay for it any time soon.

Just a thought on this - it's pretty much a matter of taste, but a lot of players choose to not include the bio in their character description during the character creation process, generally because they don't want anyone to learn their history just by examining them. I'm not saying don't do it - it's not a problem if you do - it's just that I've seen quite a few posts where people have done that and wished that they hadn't. Instead, a lot of folks put only physical descriptions there, or nothing at all. They still do have a background story, but the story gets revealed in conversations with other characters and posts in the IC forums.

But what i was going to put in the Bio is just a where is he from and a basic something else which i not yet decided but i will closer to the time i buy SoU

i am going to create this Bio with the mind of it not restricting me in story development and character interaction with others, So it ia basic 30 word Back ground which will be left wide open...

But these thoughts are response from the above post becasue that does make sense and wish not to be one of the "Oh i wish i did not put that in a bio or did that etc etc"
