Knockdown, and improved knockdown

Lizardmen are not large. They are medium. I can attest to this cause...well, I'm a lizardman. *grins*

Maybe the Improved Knockdown allows you to knock down things that are 2 size categories bigger than you rather than just 1? The manual isn't very clear on it - the way I read it, the size only affects the DC of the Discipline roll. *shrugs*

PS: No wonder Rhiss was managing to hit / knockdown Leo so much with all this broken feats and extra size and stuff - I'll give you a re-match when 1.65 is out to see how well I can do ;) (I'm sure you'll sure win, but it would be good to try it out and check it anyway)

Improved Knockdown makes you act as if you are one size category larger than you actually are. Most people focus on the +4 this gives/gave you over things the same size as you, but it also means that you are able to knockdown things 2 size categories larger than yourself.

So with improved knockdown a halfling could knockdown a wemic, but not a dragon, but a human with improved knockdown could knock down the dragon.

Thats odd, I'm sure my Changeling couldn't memorise Lizardman forms before level 10... maybe I am thinking of something else...

Ken has knocked down dragons too and he's dwarf... I think IKD moves it 1 sizegategory higher, where large can knock huge.

KD also says, that not only can you only knock down a class one bigger than you, but you can only knock down classes one BELOW you too. So for instance, Kai wouldn't be able to use knockdown on a Dog or Mouse... meaning that even a human couldn't use KD on a tiny creature.

The feat description of Improved Knockdown states that "the character may attempt a knock down as a creature one size category larger". That effectively gives you another +4 bonus to your knockdown check, and also allows you to knockdown huge opponents.

My monk can knock dragons on their asses. Any medium-sized monk can. Testament to the +2 size rule.

Thing is, as it stands now, any size can knock down any other size. At least, that's how it was a year ago when a halfling in the fightclub mod was able to knock a spawned dragon on its ass.

Nope, they both last the same amount of time. Which is to the end of the current round.
