hey there everybody
quick question.
when you look at your character sheet, under each category like strength and dexterity and stuff, you see two numbers....
now for my dexterity, the first number is 20, and the second number is 4. now, the number 4 is red. when ever i'm beefed up by a potion or spell the numbers turn green. does the fact that the second number is red mean that something is wrong? or my dexterity is altered for the worse somehow?
thanks in advance for any help you might provide

It means your dex is lowered by something.
Try a restoration or see if any of your items have a minus to dex.

alright, that is probably the case...now that raises another question for me, how bad is this? is it better to keep the armor (studded leather +1) and just deal with the loss to dexterity? or get new armor and have my dex right, and a lower armor class?PsiOmega wrote:If you check your armor it has a property called "Max Dex Bonus" (or similar, I'm digging in the toolset here >_>) and your second number can't ever go higher than that.
To get the full bonus you need to find a lighter armor as they've got a higher maximum.

Each 1 point in green (or red or white) behind your dex score is the bonus to your AC. So you can easily do the math and see what would be better for you AC. Even when you put on an armour that will lower your (maximum) Dex Score, you'll still get the original maximum dex score bonus to your attack rolles.
