OK.

I got a new power supply!

It works!

My graphics card works!

NWN *still* doesn't!

Well, after a small nervous break-down I finally gave in and went and got Windows XP.

I just loaded it on .. now I'm reupdating my Graphics Drivers to match the new O/S. Once that is done I'll try NWN once more ...

The fight goes on.

ROFL. Don't worry, you're more or less even with my prob. i have a 1.8 p4, radeon 9700, 512 ram, 80 gig hd, but NWN just won't play singleplayer. I can run saved games, but when i try to start a new game, it hangs up when i choose the "new char" or "previous char" option, or after the module has been 'unpacked' and before char selection/ creation. I've given up on sp, and just stick with avlis now. Let's just hope that that doesn't crap out on me.

I GOT IN AVLIS! YAY!

I managed to log in and play on avlis for a grand total of about 3 minutes!

Then, when I accessed my radial menu it started to hang, hung for a second (the music started looping), got going again then finally crashed. When I tried rstarting it again it would open the start-up screen, I'd click "Play" and it would just shut off.

Because I have thin patience lately I just gave up and played a MUD for a while figuring I'd try things again the next day.
