Re: DMed event announcements
If a DM chooses to announce an event to the general public, they will usually do it in General Discussion, or in-character in the appropriate city's tavern forum. However, more often DMs will simply run events 'off-the-cuff', without announcing beforehand a time and a place. Alternatively, many DMed events are run for guilds, and will be announced in the guild forums.Ladellon wrote:Where does one find them? Which forum?

Your best bet for getting DM love is to find a group of players, and role-play with them. DMs like to see this, and a passing DM will often run an event for a group of such people.
Hope that helps

Re: DMed event announcements
I recall seeing that on other forum once, that there was a specific place for DMs to announce events that they were going to do. Can't do that on Avlis, as the player base and number of DMs would make that thread abit... hectic. Avlis doesn't have a thread like that, atleast open to the public. Other then that, Jonzie hit it right onJonezie wrote:If a DM chooses to announce an event to the general public, they will usually do it in General Discussion, or in-character in the appropriate city's tavern forum.
