Turn undead for paladins and blackguards.

If I remember right you count as a cleric of half levels or some such, what exactly is the difference in strength of the turn undead ability?

You turn ability is equal to a cleric of three levels lower than your paladin/blackguard levels.

That is not correct, both Paladins and Blackguards can turn undead as a cleric of two levels lower. Both classes get Turn Undead at level 3 and at that point it works for them as it would for a level 1 cleric.

Out of curiosity then, what if they had cleric levels before and already had turn undead? No penalty, or above still applies?

Cleric level+paladin and blackguard levels - 2, to a minimum of base cleric level.
