challenge to tekkies

Post by afterhours » Tue Aug 23, 2005 12:49 am

the challenge isn't the answer, it's explaining it to a mac-using B.A. in English-toting, what-the-hell-am-i-doing with this machine sort of person......

so i'm looking for a way to toogle my full=screen nwn window (so that i may go back into my comp.). i was told there was a way to do this with the nwn.ini code...... but i'm, um, dumb with this sort of know-how.....

any ideas (wiz-kids)?

danke......

edit: sorry this isn't exactly an "ask the team"- it should be in general....whoops.
all good things,

Also moved to general discussion. Please only post in ask the team if its a question that only the team can answer. If its a general enquiry like this, please use general discussion - less work for us, and you'll get an answer faster.

Anyways, there should be a line in nwn.ini that says something like:
AllowWindowedMode=0

Change the 0 to a 1, save the file, and away you go. To change to windowed mode in game, press Alt-Enter.

It should be under the [Display Options] heading. If not, try adding it (AllowWindowedMode=1). If that doesn't work... mac thing ;)

Code: Select all

<Zebranky> (Also, that would piss SO many people off. ;)
<Nob> That's why it's such a great idea, Zeb.
