Can you have more than one character in the same guild?

Yes and no.

There is nothing specifically against it.

However there are rules against passing equipment or gold from one of your characters to another. And a rule about sharing player housing between 2 characters of the same player.

Depending on the guild this is where the problem lies in most cases as most guilds have communal storage, and even if they do not, they often have guild housing.

It is a very very iffy situation that is not a problem itself, but can lead to very big problems. If you are planning on doing this then I suggest you email staff@avlis.org with your specific situation and circumstances before you sign up your second character.

There is no team rule against it, but it is up to the players in your guild. I would personally have a problem with it and I imagine most players would as well, but thats up to your fellow players.

My only concern is an IC one. The official line is that none of your characters know each other. However, if two of them are in the same Guild, ir seems likely that they might do so. Thus, it is better not to risk that.
Life is never as bad as you think it is, although that doesn't help at the time.
